^^ support a struggling NYU student!! ---------------------------------------------- it took me numerous weeks and many sleepless nights. i almost gave up in the beginning. it took a while to figure out how to draw the ball. i'd spend so much time just shading on area.. i used graphite, black/white charcoal. this piece was an assignment for the advanced drawers in the class. (Meet the Artist, basically to pay Homage.) it gained a first place ribbon for Best Photo Reference in the art show in spring 2006. it was a lot of fun sitting on the side and watching the groups of people form around it. eventually someone told them that i did it. a freshman ran over and shook my hand. it makes hours of work worth it. ---------------------------------------------- EDIT: 12/26/06 - Daily Deviation!!! i'd like to thank everyone for all the kind comments!  ---------------------------------------------- EDIT: 01/06/07 - unfortunately i have to point out once again that i am not interested in a comment stating that you feel that this is "just a copy." We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
