haha thanks. last night i picked up an old birthday gift that i never took advantage of ([link]=pd_bbs_sr_3?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1210955117&sr=8-3) since i thought drawing with my own methods was going pretty well. I don't know if its going to teach me anything new after three drawing classes, but its fun to be "forced" to do some standard still life exercises as opposed to rely on picture references.

good hand - human machine is quite the complex structure -- does take quite a while to master drawing it.
